go to cabo! although, i guess you said no mexico so Europe is always an option, but hard to do it cheaply. Mexico or a South American country like Columbia or Brazil might be a good option. I always do Cabo, but last year I went to Paris and spent wayyy too much. Good luck booking! o yeah, and use kayak.com - they always have cheapest flights
i have been looking around too - Panama City Beach might be cheap (and where MTV is doing their thing this year) I like it because its in Florida so the flight shouldn't be too bad. The MTV thing might be a turn off if thats when you'll be there cuz all that hoopla can get annoying. But, if you're not 21, you gotta go Mexico or abroad.
can't beat the Bahamas - best vacation I've ever had
since you're on the east coast go florida, or maybe south padre island
thanks for all the great ideas - keep em coming, post any package deals you hear about too.
Habitat for humanity I went to miami for $300 they paid transportation, food, and gave us a place to stay. We had to work for 8 hours 4days though. It was worth it
Totally look into your school's programs. Often they have spring break volunteer trips, where you complete community service while staying some where new over break. At my University the trips are relatively cheap considering what you could spend back home or the cost of just getting back home. You could even try a few day trips to different places in the United States. For example you could go to NYC and try to get on MTV. The tickets are free, but you must wait in line on the day of the show. I went to NYC for my senior trip and my classmates and I got on MTV by accident. When MTV doesn't have enough people to fill the seats they start asking people on the streets. I received loads of free stuff, like t-shirts, cds, and a book. Also, I was like 1 foot from Jack Black! You can definitely just go some where without set plans and explore! I have found some of the most amazing experiences have been unplanned and done spontaneously when presented. Happy spring break trip hunting ;)
If you like skiing you should go somewhere in Canada. Their dollar is worth less than ours so you immediately make money on the exchange rate
I am from Alabama and I usually take my friends to spring bling in Florida...
Florida is honestly the best and cheapest spring break alternative. Everyone's down there and driving is much less expensive than flying there.
