Are there any good websites that help set up car pooling or rideshares besides craigslist? I want to find someone to carpool to classes with this semester.

BCS Bowl Game Predictions: Wow, what an exciting weekend of football! Texas winning on a last second field goal, one which they almost didn't get a shot at b/c of poor clock management near the end by Sr. QB Colt McCoy. Oregon coming back to win 37-33 Thursday night was a very exciting game to clinch the Rose Bowl. How about Alabama taking it to Florida, defeating the Gators by 19 points? What are your thoughts on that game? I picked Florida and thought that the game would be close. Any thoughts on Pittsburgh's bobbling of the football for the PAT, which ultimately cost them the game? Anyways, here's my 5 BCS Bowl Game projections:
National Championship (January 7, 7:00pm Central on Fox):: #1 Alabama vs. #2 Texas
Rose Bowl (January 1, 3:30pm Central on ABC): Big Ten Champ Ohio State vs. Pac 10 Champ Oregon
Orange Bowl (January 5, 7:00pm on Fox): ACC Champ Georgia Tech vs. At-Large Bid, TCU
Sugar Bowl (January 1, 7:30pm on Fox): At-large bid, Florida vs. At-large bid, Cincinnati
Fiesta Bowl (January 4, 7:00pm on Fox): At-large bid, Boise State vs. At-large bid, Iowa.
Let me hear your predictions and your thoughts on this weekends games!

What would be best laptop to buy?
I am planning to do some really heavy scripting and programming. I need something secure. I need to be able to upload huge databases on my computer at a good speed. I need to be able to handle my websites so I need really good graphics. I also need anything else you suggest for someone that is into the really technical areas.

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death. ~Anais Nin~

Week 14 Conference Championship Game Winner Predictions:
I'm going to include tonights #16 Oregon St. @ #7 Oregon (8:00pm Central, ESPN) because the winner claims the Pac-10 Championship and an automatic berth to the Rose Bowl (4:00pm Central on ABC, January 1, 2010) against Big Ten Conference winner, the Buckeyes of Ohio State. Therefore, my prediction for tonights matchup is....Oregon defeating Oregon State by 14 points...The spread for this game is Oregon by 9.5. What are your thoughts?
FYI, as of right now, the nation is voting 79/21 in favor of Oregon.
Saturday will feature many great and exciting games that could have a vast impact on the BCS standings. The list below are the games, the teams, when they are, my pick, as well as the spread for the game:
SEC Championship (3:00pm on CBS) features #1 Florida vs. #2 Alabama. I'm going to have to pick Florida here. I think Tim Tebow makes too much of a difference right now, in college football. The line for this game is Florida by 5. I think this game is close, but Florida wins 24-17.
Now onto the Big 12 (7:00pm, ABC) featuring #3 Texas playing at a neutral field against #22 Nebraska. Nebraska has a great d-line, but I think the offensive prowl of Texas and McCoy will prove to much for the Huskers. The line here is Texas by 14 and I agree that Texas wins this game by 14 points, 31-17.
Next, we have the Big East Game (11:00am, ABC) where #5 Cincinnati will square off against #15 Pittsburgh. The line for this game is Cincy by 1.5. I believe Cincy will win this one on the road by a last minute field goal. Pittsburgh is coming off of a loss last week and will be playing at home to end their regular season and conference play; however, I think Cincy is just too much for Pittsburgh.
And lastly, the ACC Championship game (7:00pm, ESPN) featuring #10 Georgia Tech vs. Clemson. The spread here is GT by 1. I think that Clemson will upset Georgia Tech in this one due to their defense and their special teams. Clemson passing game is much better than GT's (217.3 yds/gm - 80th vs. 141.2 - 116th). I think this will ultimately push Clemson towards the W.
This is all I have for tonight. I look forward to hearing your opinions! Take it away.
P.S. other games to note are:
Ohio @ Central Michiga(7:00pm Friday on ESPN2) for the MAC Championship, #21 Houston @ East Carolina (11:00am Sat. on ESPN2) for the Conference USA Championship, Arizona @ #18 USC (2:30 Sat, ABC), and New Mexico St @ #6 Boise State (2:00pm, ESPN 360) just to see if Boise State can go undefeated.
Let me hear it!
